Issues Receiving the Brief

The Brief is sent every Friday. If you do not receive the Brief via email, login and go to the Briefs page to see if the Brief has been uploaded yet. You can download it here if you did not receive it. If you don't remember your password, you can reset it.

Spam Reports

There are several email service providers that do not like the content of the Brief from time to time. As such, we routinely see emails to those service providers marked as spam unnecessarily even though everyone on the email list is a paid subscriber and provided their email address to us so that we could send the Brief to them.

If your email service marked the Brief as spam you need to be prepared to download the brief from the website until you get the issue fixed or you switch to an email provider (see a list of the problem children below) that isn't prone to mark the Brief as spam

Ensuring Deliverability

If you do not receive the Brief please check in your Spam folder to see if it is there. If it is, please move it to your inbox and or mark it as not spam. In addition, if your email is hosted by one of the following providers (others have problems from time to time as well) be aware that they often have issues with the Brief:

  • aol.com
  • comcast.net

By default we support the following browsers (with javascript enabled), however, if any of the browsers below falls below a percentage of usage we deem reasonable or if we see a different usage pattern on the site we reserve the right to change our supported browsers.
